What is the Whitman
Agency?
The Whitman Agency is dedicated to providing insurance
solutions for the full cycle of life events, from birth to the
end of life.
It is our belief that people deserve to have tools
available for achieving assurance of a positive quality of life.
We do this in conjunction and partnership with other financial,
social and health professionals.
Life Insurance to replace the loss of income due
to the death of a parent or spouse. Life insurance can also be
critical for use in business and to provide a tax free source
to pay estate taxes.
Long Term Care Insurance to provide a way for
people to maintain their quality of life at home and free them
from reqiring confinement in a nursing home. We do this by paying
for home health care services in a variety of ways, allowing for
maximum flexibility.
Disability Income Insurance provides a replacement
for lost income due to disability caused by an accident or sickness.
Life Insurance Settlement is the purchase of a
life insurance policy from a senior who no longer needs the coverage.
The policy is purchased by an investment company and the funds
can be used by the senior for any purpose deemed to be more of
a priority at this stage of their life.
Fixed Annuities are tax deferred savings that
earn a fixed rate of return. They can act much like certificates
of deposit at the bank with the additional advantage of a deferral
of taxes on interest earnings until funds are withdrawn. In addition,
insurance companies allow for an option called annuitization,
which can allow a guaranteed income stream for different time
periods, including lifetime.
